Pressbox (Press Release) - CereProc’s New Female Mandarin Voice Mailin

CereProc are pleased to announce the release of their first non-exclusive Mandarin Chinese language voice, Mailin.

The Mailin voice represents a female voice in her early 20s and is suitable for deployment in a wide variety of applications across various industry sectors. The CereWave AI Mailin voice was developed inhouse using CereProc’s advance technology DNN based CereWave AI system.

Working closely with native Mandarin speakers, CereProc have created a voice true to the Mandarin language and with speech output, that accurately reflects Mandarin speech patterns, whist maintaining the characteristics of the voice artist.

In last six months, a female Mandarin voice has been one of the most requested by CereProc’s customers and with over one billion speakers, the potential for CereProc’s Mandarin text-to-speech voices is huge.

All CereProc’s voices are available both for commercial and personal users and can be deployed across a multitude of different operating system platforms and environments.

Using the CereVoice SDK, App developers can integrate the new Mailin voice into their applications. The CereVoice SDK permits CereWave AI voices to run on device without the requirement of an internet connection, ideal for applications handling sensitive data or that require the speed advantage of edge computing / on-device synthesis.

Personal and commercial users can purchase Microsoft SAPI5 or MacOS desktop versions of the Mailin voice, directly from CereProc’s online webstore https://www.cereproc.com/en/buy-voices

Commercial users can deploy CereProc’s Mandarin voice on multi-threaded on premise cServers, particularly ideal for use in telephony and public announcement environments. Mailin will also be available on CereCloud, CereProc’s SAAS technology.
