Added: (Mon Mar 13 2017)

Pressbox (Press Release) - GogoTraining CEO, Marianne Cherney announced today the release of GogoTrainings newest online IT certification course: ITIL Practitioner, accredited by PEOPLECERT. This is a great day for the ITIL Community, as GogoTraining is making ITIL Practitioner certification easier and more affordable for the IT professional. As a leader in Online IT Training, we believe that affordable online, self-paced courses taught by our Master Trainers, advance the entire IT profession, and ultimately move the industry toward a better end-state. Were incredibly proud of our Team and all our partners who helped make this happen.

Dimitris Nicolaides, Business & IT Qualifications Director at PEOPLECERT said, We are excited to partner with GogoTraining, a dynamic organization that makes it possible for professionals to access high quality online training in ITIL Practitioner. The combination of the virtual classroom setting provided by GogoTraining, with PEOPLECERTs state-of-the-art online proctoring exam platform, makes it possible for candidates to get certified in ITIL Practitioner from anywhere in the world.

The ITIL Practitioner Certification is the newest ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) Certification created by AXELOS to enable organizations to bridge the gap between theory and practice. When implemented properly, ITIL allows for all the pieces, (i.e. services, hardware, software, people and vendors) to work together in a repeatable fashion, saving organizations money while increasing organizational efficiency. Depending on business size, savings from the proper adoption and application of ITIL can add up to hundreds of thousands of dollars annually.

To help IT professionals successfully adopt and adapt ITIL Best Practices and become ITIL Engineers, AXELOS created ITIL Practitioner, a course that teaches a tried and tested methodology for the implementation of these principles into any team or organization. This is not covered in any other ITIL certification and will benefit everyone involved in IT Service Management.

When GogoTraining decided to add the ITIL Practitioner course to their course offering, they turned to Dr. Suzanne Van Hove. Dr. Van Hove travels the world teaching and working with organizations to adopt and adapt the principles of IT Service Management. Said Ms. Cherney, Suzanne is a great fit for GogoTraining and ITIL Practitioner because she exemplifies the quality we want to achieve with our courses. In addition, she understands firsthand what ITIL Practitioners need to know in order to successfully adopt and adapt ITIL. Her ITIL Practitioner course is full of practical guidance as well as the expert material needed to pass the certification exam.

Dr. Van Hove said, This is a high-level certification requiring thorough study. This is why we created an online video course with full access to all classroom materials and the ability to interact with me personally via the online Questions and Answers Forum. Learning how to properly adopt and adapt ITIL and to be able to pass the certification exam requires students to apply what they learned to real life situations. That takes a special type of class.

GogoTraining CEO Marianne Cherney stated, Dr. Van Hoves classes consistently receive student praise. She is recognized as an expert in the field who knows how to successfully bring high standards to life in a way that students understand. Students find Dr. Van Hove approachable and are amazed at the completeness and promptness of her responses to their questions. At GogoTraining, we believe that the only one to answer a students question is the instructor. There is no substitute.

We live in a highly competitive world Ms. Cherney said. Technology changes at a pace we never dreamed was possible. Companies compete in a global marketplace and being able to succeed requires all aspects of an organization to be finely tuned. It is not enough to have a superior product. If the departments that make up a company do not work well together or understand how they affect each other, it is not possible to compete effectively. Companies that adopt and adapt ITIL need their ITIL personnel certified in ITIL Foundation, the appropriate ITIL Intermediate courses, and ITIL Practitioner. They need their people to have an ITIL Engineer mentality. A mentality that sees the bigger picture. A mentality that helps businesses effectively adopt and adapt ITIL, and in so doing, saving resources, time and money.
