Pressbox (Press Release) -

LSoft Technologies is proud to present the latest version of its popular disk imaging software, Active@ Disk Image. In version 9.1.2, we've made some tweaks, improvements and bug fixes to ensure that your experience is better than ever before. Major changes include added support for raw images in Virtual Disk and support for ReFS file systems in Explorer. We've also made many minor user interface improvements to help optimize your workflow and minimize the learning curve. Other improvements include fixes in the display of exFAT partitions in Explore and raw image compression in Disk Image and Virtual Disk. If you're using the Professional edition of Active@ Disk Image, you'll also be able to upgrade to the latest versions of Active@ Boot Disk and Boot Disk Creator.

Why Active@ Disk Image?

Active@ Disk Image is the product of many years of research and development and no small amount of valuable customer feedback. The goal of the program has always been to create the best and most exhaustive disk-imaging solution available. It offers the perfect way to back up your files as well, since it makes sure nothing on the storage device gets forgotten about. Even your operating system, along with all your applications, is kept safe in a full, byte-by-byte image of the drive. This is also very useful if you want to upgrade your computer, replace the hard disk or create an identical desktop environment on another computer. Simply unpack the image onto a blank disk, and everything will be just like it was before! In business environments, this makes Active@ Disk Image for quickly deploying dozens or even hundreds of new computers running the same operating system, applications and having access to the same data.
