Educational publisher Galore Park launches poetry competition!

Pressbox (Press Release) - To celebrate the launch of their new English resources (English for Key Stage 2 and English for Common Entrance), Galore Park is running a poetry competition and children across the United Kingdom between ages 7-13 are invited to enter.

The winning child will win a brand-new Kindle Paperwhite for themselves (worth 109.99) and a hamper full of books for their school. All (20+) books in the hamper are suitable for ages 7-13 and are published by Galore Park or the brilliant Hachette Children's Group.

To enter, children should write a poem of no more than 300 words describing 'how reading unlocks the world'. All styles and techniques are welcome. To submit an entry, a parent or guardian should visit galorepark.co.uk/poetry-competition, where they can also find extracts from bestselling Galore Park books packed full of expert advice to help any budding poet create their masterpiece.

Competition ends midnight 28th May, so get writing!
