The SRI Label Group takes pride in announcing that Bennett Liebowitz has been appointed to the post of Vice President of Label Operations. He was previously Manager of A&R for the SRI Records imprint.
"Bennett has been immersed in music all of his life with his mother being a jazz vocalist and music teacher. As a youngster he tagged along on recording sessions and rehearsals with both his mother and music-producer-father. He, himself, has worked hard at every level in the company and he has a natural talent for understanding the roots, energy, artistry and talent for each genre and artist on our rosters.
His experience working at college radio gave him the introduction to the needs of broadcasters and what creates the desire to add new artists and recordings. Bennett can easily comprehend the requirements of budgets and promotion make him the right person to take this very important position within the company.
