Griff Hosker Announces Release of Latest Gripping Medieval Adventure, The Hunt

17th October 2023 – Bestselling historical fiction author, Griff Hosker, has announced the release of the next instalment in his epic Lord Edward’s Archer series.
The Hunt, book seven in the saga, is set to be released on 9th November 2023 and continues the story of Gerald Warbow; master archer and devoted servant to Lord-turned-King, Edward.
With the humiliating defeat at the Battle of Stirling Bridge still haunting those who fought, King Edward I faces fresh unrest as Scottish rebels threaten his northern borders. As William Wallace, the insurgent thorn in the King’s side, is hiding overseas it falls to Gerald to thwart a revolt. Now an ageing knight, Sir Gerald Warbow no longer has the frame of a young archer, but he is the most trusted of King Edward’s men and he is sent to France to bring back the rebel who defied the English Crown.
Commenting on his forthcoming release, Griff Hosker said: “There has been much anticipation from readers for a seventh outing for Gerald Warbow; although the character is now in his later years, he still has the spirit he held in book one. Taking on William Wallace was a narrative that I knew just had to be played out and I hope I’ve managed to convey the heartfelt loyalty of a man to his king.”
