Olanzapine is applied to treat the symptoms of schizophrenia (a mental disorder that causes upset or strange thinking, effective or improper emotions, and lack of interest in life) in adults as well as teenagers 13 years of age and older.
It is further used to treat bipolar disorder (manic depressive disorder; a condition that causes events of depression, experiences of mania, and different abnormal moods) in adults and teenagers 13 years of age and older. Olanzapine is in a range of medicines named atypical antipsychotics. It acts by altering the movement of some natural elements in the brain.
Nicolan Healthcare stated that it has launched Olanzapine Tablets (5mg, 10mg), a bioequivalent generic version of COLZAR MD Tablets in the Indian market following the regard by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) of Colzar MD for Olanzapine Tablets.

How should Colzar MD be used?
Olanzapine reaches as a tablet and an orally disintegrating tablet (tablet that dissolves instantly in the mouth) to take by mouth. It is normally taken once a day with or without meals. Take olanzapine at approximately the same time daily.
Follow the instructions on your prescription label thoroughly, and ask your healthcare provider to tell any section you do not know. Take olanzapine specifically as instructed. Do not take higher or lower of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
Do not seek to advance the orally disintegrating tablet within the foil. Rather, utilize dry hands to strip off the foil packaging. Directly take out the tablet and put it in your mouth. The tablet will immediately dissolve and can be swallowed with or without water.
Olanzapine may improve control of your symptoms, though it will not heal your condition. It may take some weeks or higher before you feel the complete benefit of olanzapine. Olanzapine may cause side effects. Inform your healthcare provider if any of these symptoms are critical or do not go on like dizziness, or having trouble keeping your balance; difficulty walking; depression; unusual behavior; feeling unsteady, restlessness; difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep; weight gain; weakness; constipation; dry mouth, pain in arms, legs, back, or joints; breast enlargement or discharge; late or missed menstrual periods and decreased sexual ability.
