Morning Laziness is a female-oriented internet publication. It features a variety of content, including entrepreneurial journeys, relationship guidance, and write-ups about sensitive issues affecting women.
Morning Laziness has expanded considerably as a digital magazine in the previous two years, with over 40,000+ monthly readings and a total of about 10 lakhs reads.
Morning Lazziness was also the first digital publication to feature the NFT Collection "Woman In Metaverse."
The first female-themed NFT effort, "Woman In Metaverse" (WiM), focuses on a woman's individuality and welfare.
It's made up of a cast of meta characters who always smile, regardless of their mood, situation, or work setting.
The meta identities describe the mindset that women must have in order to be powerful and courageous throughout their life. This digital magazine tries to reflect the idea of women's empowerment through this metaverse project.
Shruti Sood, the founder of Morning Lazziness, was kind enough to sit down with us for an inspiring chat.
"When we talk about Women's Empowerment, their individuality plays a significant role for startups and businesses in entrepreneurship," she remarked.
When I was a kid, I thought it was strange when people addressed married women as Mrs. followed by her husband's surname. Now that I'm older, I see why they do it and have a few questions that have made me ponder."
"One's given name is a significant marker of self," she continued. A name with a prefix, such as "Er. or Dr.," gives the impression of being a respected individual who has accomplished something. Similarly, surnames such as "Ambani" or "Bansal" convey a sense of respect.
To clarify, it's not just about the name they're calling you; it's also about how you feel when they say it. Is that anything that makes you proud? Is there a personal identity? Is it possible to have your own name? It's not just about the surname, but in order to keep things brief, I've just taken this crucial reference."
"Frankly speaking, I have observed ladies missing their originality," she replied when asked how women appreciate their individuality in the modern period. Women's empowerment is a topic we frequently discuss, and many of us are working to achieve it.
However, when it comes to women's empowerment, the basics are also missing. Women are frequently viewed as second-class citizens who lack the same rights and respect as males. This is evidenced by the fact that their names are frequently derived from those of their husbands or parents.
"Women will never have a chance unless they start to find their worth," she added. No one else will love you if you don't love yourself."
"Finding individuality does not entail being an entrepreneur, a political leader, or a top business professional," she added when discussing how women could seek originality.
It entails identifying your core strengths and inner self in order to attain satisfaction by contributing to society.
The obligation a person has to her family is not only a woman's responsibility; it applies to both men and women.
Individuality counts when an individual provides value to a circumstance and does not live their life as a mother, wife, daughter, or relative. People look up to them in such situations because of their potential, talent, and ability. In such circumstances, this sensation is what improves the person's self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-worth, resulting in happiness."
"We are building an environment where the originality of every woman will be appreciated," she added at the end of the interview, referring to her extremely promising NFT collection, Women in Metaverse.
We wanted to see smiles on everyone's faces because life is far too short to be unhappy. If we focus on the micro level rather than the macro level, this could be the best face of women's empowerment.
