Our world has come to a place where it depends totally on electricity. It is used for almost everything we do, from running our contemporary gizmos to heating our homes and providing power to whatever we now have. Even when it cools down and gets hard, the wax still is able to keep heat. If you want to use something inexpensive and still maintain heat for long stretches is Eutectic Salts. Solar powered energy could be stored using steam that was generated by Molten Salts. The process gets going when molten salts are heated in the storage container. The energy that is generated can be stored in rechargeable batteries which can be used for later. Lead acid battery is the most common battery employed for this purpose.
We do have a variety of ways to store natural energy but we still must make improvements. The moment we discover an efficient way to keep energy, we can have an unlimited supply of heat.
