Author holds writing workshop

Local author, Elizabeth Bailey, who has eighteen published novels in print in more than a dozen countries to her credit, held a workshop for budding writers recently at the Calcioli Field Practice, the Scientology Life Improvement Centre based in Wealden House, Ashurst Wood. Her works include several titles for Mills & Boon.
Liz, a Scientologist, explained to the attendees how some of L. Ron Hubbard's basic principles on what art is and its mechanics help her on a daily basis. She also went over how to get started on the publishing ladder, how to make writing come alive, how the publishing industry works and what it takes to get your work in print.
"My urge to create has been revitalized" and "I now feel I really can go away and write for a living" are comments made by two of the attendees.
The Calcioli Field Practice, which has just launched its website (see www.calcioli.com), exclusively delivers Scientology and Dianetics Life Improvement services, developed by L. Ron Hubbard, that include counselling and one-to-one tuition & courses to help with everyday problems in all areas of life. Free introductory talks are also given on a regular basis and on a wide range of subjects such as parenting, stress, relationships, the mind, drug prevention and artistic ability. The practice was set up in Sunderland by Lizzy Calcioli in 1995 and moved to East Grinstead in 1999.
