Task Commander

Task Commander is a program designed to make it easier to launch, manage, and monitor applications. Using the Task Commander you can provide integrated management over the applications that includes:

- tools for quick selection and launch of applications;
- self-adapting menu for the quick launch of applications;
- tools for group and individual management of applications;
- applications executing monitoring.

Task Commander can replace four standard Windows utilities: Taskbar, Quick Launch Panel, TaskSwitcher and Task Manager.

Task Commander key features:
- Information presentation about running, selected and frequently used applications;
- Launch and switching between applications simplicity;
- Support of all managing duties with active application windows;
- Support of group managing duties with all simultaneously running applications windows;
- Support of all group managing duties with all instances of a running application;
- Processor usage monitoring;
- Processor usage history;
- Hotkeys programming for application windows control;
- Task Commander launching from Quick Launch panel, IE Toolbar, Windows Explorer Toolbar.

Task Commanders user interface includes:
- Task Commander Deskbar indicator;
- Hot Launch menu;
- Task Switch panel;
- Preferences window.

Task Commander Deskbar indicator somewhat resembles to the Windows Start button. It provides access to other user interface elements and also shows the processor usage. Task Commander Deskbar indicator can be placed on the Windows Taskbar, IE Toolbar, or on the Windows Explorer Toolbar.
