Is the Internet friendlier to Women rather than Men?
A recent review of AgonyInternet.com users revealed 80% of men and only 20% women had problems using the world wide web.
The review of the help site for internet problems found that most men who sent in questions seemed worse off in coping with setting
up their PCs to handle emails and dial up services and were more concerned with locating the free services available.
The problems women suffered indicated their anxiety was mostly due to finding specific subject matter on the web as opposed to
solving PC based technical problems.
Apart from one woman who wanted to find out how to set up internet access for an entire apartment block!
Internationally, men fared better than women with only 68% having had problems with the web but women still come up trumps.
