The Story...
Demetrius Tolefree...born and raised in the Bay Area...is no novice to Gospel Music. He's been playing the drums since age 9 and the keys/organ since 15.
After playing for such Artists as: Lawrence Matthews, Rev.James Moore, Arvis Strickling-Jones, Tony Toni Tone' and others, Demetrius has finally decided to venture out on his own with his Debut Album entitled "SAVED". This album mixes both traditional gospel as well as contemporary gospel to create a sound that is inspiring to the heart and warm to the soul.
Demetrius says.."...Growing up listening to the Hawkins, the Winans and the Clarks made me want to sing...Listening to Thomas Whitfield, Ben Tankard and Hubert Powell made me want to play...but now after listening to Donald Lawrence, Kirk Franklin and Kurt Carr...I really want to write!". And write he did. This CD contains songs that came straight from the pen of Demetrius himself. You won't be dis-appointed with this one...
