City of Clinton Welcomes New Website

The City of Clinton and the Clinton Chamber of Commerce have recently launched a new website, www.clintonms.org. The site includes a number of special features, including a scrolling newswire, calendar of events, site search tool, e-newsletter signup, maps, FAQs, forms, streaming videos, and more.
Utilizing a variety of advanced web technologies, the Clinton’s website is dedicated to keeping citizens informed of upcoming events and current news. “Knowing that so many people often access a website before making any other contact with a city creates the need to constantly update and improve the City of Clinton website,” said Mayor Rosemary Aultman. “I'm pleased that the revamped site provides all the necessary information about the various departments and agencies connected with Clinton. Additionally residents have the opportunity to interact with city departments via email, receive updates of street closures and locations of work that may interrupt traffic, as well as be informed of community events through the calendar. I hope Clintonians will find the web site easy to navigate and very informative.”
The new site includes a directory of members of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, a photo gallery, and job postings. “From the straightforward navigation to the site search tool, our goal is that the website makes it easier for visitors and residents to find answers to their questions, information on services and businesses in Clinton, and user forms that are available online,” said David Crawford, CEO of U.S. NetworX.
