TBLISI, REPUBLIC OF GEORGIA, October 3, 2005, Phage Therapy Center, a wholly owned subsidiary of Phage International Inc, a US Corporation, has opened a New Out-Patient Wound Care Medical Clinic specializing in Bacteriophage therapy, providing easy access for patients from the UK and other European Countries.
Bacteriophage technologies, or Phages, have remarkable antibacterial activity. Medically approved they have been used successfully in Georgian and other Eastern European medical facilities for decades yet are relatively unknown in western medicine.
