Added: (Tue Apr 10 2001)

London, April 9th 2001 – Mindmatics have successfully secured their next round of capital funding from Best Practice Venture Capital.

Despite the recent downward turn in markets in Germany and around the world, Mindmatics were able to acquire a seven-figure capital increase from Mannheim-based VC company Best Practice Venture Capital. In return for their investment BPVC acquired a ten percent share in Mindmatics AG.

Gerd R. Wetzler, CEO of Best Practice Venture Capital and a former General Electric Managing Director (Germany) said, “We have been looking to get into mobile and wireless technology for a while now. We were attracted to Mindmatics because of their unique concept – a powerful amalgamation of their understanding of the burgeoning wireless technology markets and their experience of direct marketing – as well as their professionalism, and above all their determination to actually make a profit!”

Mindmatics was founded in March 2000 by Ingo Lippert and Christian Hinrichs, and now has more than thirty employees working from offices in Munich. Through their end-user service www.misteradgood.de, Mindmatics are already the leading interactive wireless advertising provider in Germany.

They are now expanding into the UK market, with an office in London and the launch of www.mradgood.co.uk at the beginning of February.
